In Brazil, in addition to the Coronavirus pandemic, there's another pandemic that threatens Brazilians: Fake News.
According to one study, 7 out of 10 Brazilians are led to believe incorrect information about COVID-19. Even some government officials disseminate fake news about vaccines.
To fight this, Google created the Get the Facts campaign, which seeks to raise awareness about accessing information from trusted sources and quality resources. The campaign's main disease prevention guidelines will be displayed in Google products, such as Search, Google Maps, Google News and YouTube.
